Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Heiress platform ("Platform"), website, or submitting a contact form, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

These Terms govern use of the Platform and website. Subscription-specific terms, service level agreements, and data processing agreements may be provided separately for paid tiers.

Accounts and Access

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that are used for unauthorized purposes.

Your Content and Data

You retain ownership of all content you create on the Platform, including artifact records, photographs, provenance events, and business data. By using the Platform, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the service.

We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for purposes other than operating the Platform on your behalf.

Provenance Records

Provenance events created on the Platform are designed to be permanent and immutable. Once a provenance event is recorded, it cannot be edited or deleted. This is an intentional design decision that ensures the credibility and integrity of the provenance record. By using the Platform, you acknowledge and accept this behavior.

Intellectual Property

All Platform software, design, branding, and documentation are the property of Heiress, LLC or its licensors and may not be copied, modified, or distributed without permission. Your content remains yours as described above.

Subscription and Billing

Access to Platform features is determined by your subscription tier. Pricing, capacity limits, and billing terms will be provided at the time of subscription. All tiers require an active subscription and a payment method on file.

No Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available." Heiress, LLC makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or availability of the Platform.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Heiress, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to use of the Platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
